Daphne Weihs

Daphne became a faculty member in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Technion in Haifa, Israel studying bio-microrheology and drug activity on live cells. She is currently an Associate Professor at Technion, Head of the Laboratory for Mechanobiology of Cancer and Wounds, and Head of L&D Sherman Center for Research in Biomaterials. She is Past President of the Israel Society for Medical and Biological Engineering (ISMBE)
